Comenius
Project
Even though we
are from different countries and with different cultures and traditions,
we want to show that we can co-operate and build a common future in
Europe; where the understanding of other cultures and the exploitation
of national identity are not felt as impediments, but become a growing
up enrichment and incentive for a common fortune, fighting against prejudices
and strengthening tolerance and co-operation.
From what above the starting objects are:
· to know and understand other cultures for a general enrichment;
· to develop the sharing of experiences and materials using ICT.
Our group is made of pupils and teachers from:
Cyprus, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland and Italy.
Comenius School Projects promote transnational co-operation between
schools. They give pupils and teachers from at least three participating
countries an opportunity to work together on one or more topics of mutual
interest.
This co-operation enables participants to exchange experiences, explore
different aspects of European cultural, social and economic diversity,
increase their general knowledge and learn to understand and appreciate
each other’s views.
Comenius contributes to promoting the learning of languages in school
by communicating in other languages.
Comenius projects
also help pupils and teachers to promote the knowledge on the project
topics, to enhance the team-work relationship, to collaborate and to
develop the use of information and communication technology in school
education too.
